Ingredients

  • 350g OREO Original Cookies
  • 80g butter, melted

  • 375g block PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3 teaspoons powdered gelatine, dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 200g white chocolate, melted, cooled slightly

  • Strawberries, for decoration
  • Extra OREO Original Cookies, broken for decoration, if desired

Instructions

  • PLACE 250g of the OREO cookies in a food processor and process into fine crumbs. Add the butter and process to combine. Press the mixture into a lined 18cm × 28cm lamington tin and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  • BEAT the PHILLY, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth, then beat in the cream. Stir through the gelatine mixture and white chocolate.
  • ROUGHLY chop the remaining cookies and stir through the filling, then pour over the OREO base. Refrigerate 3 hours or until set. Cut into triangles and decorate with strawberries.

Make sure you make 2. 1 for work colleagues and 1 for home...otherwise you won't be allowed out of the house with it! Everyone raved about this. So decadent but so easy to make.

Cookis n Cream slice

created by hawkskel

I made this and shared with friends at work and home and everyone raved about it. I personally found it really rich and probably couldn't eat a whole slice (as in the pic) in one go. But still very yummy and I will be making it again :)

cookies n cream slice

I made this and it was absolutely delicious. Someone actually rang me the next day to say she couldnt stop thinking about it!! I made it as is, but the recipe says 350g of Oreo's but the packs are 250g. I didn't bother buying another pack for the extra 50g, I just put less through the actual cheesecake mixture (instead of skimping on the base). You have got to try this recipe!
